The Philippine Blog Press is slowly but surely gaining momentum towards site completion, especially now that the publication has a fresh, new logo. Naturally, as in most of my online projects, the logo was designed by Andrew dela Serna.
This is the initial and raw manifestation of the BlogPress.ph logo. We plan to enhance it further before final deployment on site launch, which will be this March 2009. We would really appreciate it if you, dear readers, could provide feedback regarding the logo and the Web site’s overall “look & feel”.

Good logo! The b and p says about the Blog Press, while the two eyes in each letter somehow gives the impression that the blog will act as some kind of a watchdog. :)

It doesn’t look like an owl to you? Hmmm…

The eye looks normal over a dark background, but looks off on a white bg (they look like ‘crazy’ eyes instead of watchful ones) Type is great. and mark is ok too after the eyes part. :D

It’s rough, but you get the idea. ;)

Thanks very much for your input! However, the logo looking like an owl isn’t really the main objective — meaning, we don’t really want it to look too much like an owl. ;)
The stylized “bp” is what we’re aiming for primarily.
